In the 7^th edition of a successful HLS&E workshop series, powered by Vision Dynamics for six wonderful previous editions already, this year the Collegiate Entrepreneurship Contest will take place for the first time. Visit The Netherlands’ picturesque windmills, Brainport region and Eindhoven University of Technology to learn more about how to click of an innovational path for your research findings. Generally, innovation is identified with entrepreneurship opportunities and there are many unmet needs in the specific industrial and research sector of the Healthcare and Life-Sciences but also long trajectories and high economical risks before success can kick-in. Register with us at HLS&E as Delegate+ to experience how you can make a difference on this path based on your role either as a scientist or entrepreneur.

The Collegiate Entrepreneurship Contest is a hands-on Training and pitch event offering an excellent opportunity for graduate students, young investigators (PhD, PDeng, Postdoc level) as well as Principal Investigators (PIs) to present their innovation case based on their respective research findings to a broad technical and innovation expert audience in three styles: recorded 15s message map (originally, it was developed to talk about brands/products but why not use it for telling about your innovational research findings?) Instructions “how to message map” is simple: use a single slide as a white board, write down a twitter friendly description of what your case is about and the problem your scientific findings will solve; then underneath of this message add three supporting points, then press record “your slide” and make a voice over. Consequently, if you are happy with your 15s- message made save the file as a recorded pptx or video file and upload on our website in the Delegate+ registration section! In addition, please submit your short form structured abstract (see link to abstract template), upon acceptance you will also have a visual poster presentation and engagement in our lively technical program of the HLS&E workshop core event is guaranteed. This training allows for entrepreneurial novices to take their research findings on to an impact path to learn and gain insight on the innovation process and sharpening their story behind their impact trajectory. Furthermore, as Delegate+ your will receive expert feedback and encouragement from others, who went before you on to the podium to pitch within the STEM fields of Healthcare and Life-sciences research and development.
